About the role
As Head of Digital & IT, you will be responsible for shaping and leading the digital ecosystem for Commercial Care. The role brings together product ownership, IT support, marketing technology, and digital infrastructure to support both clinic operations and commercial performance.
You will ensure that digital tools and systems are secure, scalable, and designed with users in mind. By aligning digital capabilities with business needs, you enable effective marketing execution, efficient workflows, and superior patient journeys across markets. In this role you will manage a small team and report to the Commercial Excellence Product Director.
In this role, you will
Lead the overall digital product vision and roadmap, covering IT support, system operations, product development, and marketing automation
Build and develop a multidisciplinary team, including Product Owners, martech specialists, and IT support
Oversee IT support operations, ensuring stable systems, timely issue resolution, and good service for clinics and central teams
Define and evolve the digital architecture and integration strategy to support scalability and interoperability
Take responsibility for cyber security, risk, and compliance in line with healthcare regulations and internal standards
Develop and manage the martech ecosystem (CRM, marketing automation, analytics), supporting acquisition, conversion, and retention
Establish structured prioritisation and capacity planning in collaboration with stakeholders
Manage vendors, partnerships, and licensing for digital platforms and services
Own budget and financial governance for Digital & IT, including investment decisions and cost control
Drive continuous improvement across digital products, IT processes, and marketing technologies
Work closely with clinic teams and business leaders to ensure solutions meet operational needs and create measurable value
Ensure that digital and IT foundations support safe medical operations and business continuity

You likely have
Several years of experience in digital leadership, product management, IT operations, or martech, ideally in a multi-site or international setting
Experience leading digital product development, system implementation, and business transformation initiatives
Knowledge of IT support operations, including service management, incident handling, and vendor coordination
Experience working with digital ecosystems, including CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools
Understanding of how to align business needs with scalable digital solutions
Experience working with security, risk, and compliance, preferably in a regulated environment
Experience with budgeting, financial follow-up, and prioritisation of digital investments
Experience working in a matrix organisation is a plus
Experience from healthcare or clinical environments is beneficial but not required
